Really nice place to stay. Lovely staff, amazing view and sunset. We really felt like home. Good place for camping always, with an outside BBQ you can use, and you can use their fridges to keep your stuff cold. Rafting with their friends of Nalubale completes the the stay!

I travelled with my 3 kids aged under 10 and stayed at their recently established cottage (as an airbnb).nWe enjoyed the beautiful sunsets overlooking the nile. The staff were very friendly and accomodating to our requests. It felt like home away from home. The staff helped us organise for a chef on the days we wanted a home cooked meal.nThe cottage was definitely value for money - right next to a small stream that drains into the nearby nile - and the sound from that was very relaxing, quiet and private.nnThis was my second holiday in jinja but definitely my best.

Ive stayed two different weekends now at Nile River Camp and I have nothing but good things to say. The staff is friendly, the accommodation is affordable, the food is great, and the beer is cold. The Black Lantern next door also provides a wonderful place to use wifi and have a fine dining experience on the River Nile.

Basic but clean accomodation in safari tents and small rooms. You can also camp.Good bar and simple pub grub style menu. Nice pool next to river (popular with monkeys)Hot communal showers.Solar powered so occassionally lights are low. Strong security boxes behind bar. Good base for lots of river and adventure activites. Very friendly helpful manager Dylan. Generally quiet but if you want a party head to Nile River Explorers next door.

Nile river camp is the most welcoming beautiful camp spot Iu2019ve ever stayed at in Uganda. A place that I look forward to returning to every time I return the the area. NRC is a hot spot for tame monkeys, beautiful bird life and breath taking sunsets. The owner Dylan is passionate about making sure everyone has the best possible stay for the best value of Cost! I canu2019t recommend this place enough!

My daughter, granddaughter and I, along with 40 friends stayed here during a humanitarian mission trip. It is a lovely, relaxing place, with good food, and a most excellent view of the Nile River. I love this place.

Cant say enough good things about this place. The view is unbeatable, reasonable prices, good food and the staff is absolutely amazing. nnAccommodation is very reasonably priced and you can choose to stay in a dorm or the safari tents which really cool, and nothing beats opening your tent to that view. Also very clean and quiet. nnTheres also the choices to go wondering to neighbouring restaurants and bars, it always feels like a family! nnDylan and staff run a tight ship and will go out of their way to make sure youre ok and enjoying your stay. nnI recommend the boat tours that they do and the rope swing!

My group of 16 foreign students stayed at the various hostel rooms at the Nile River Camp and they absolutely loved their experience. We were able to reserve them rooms at an affordable rate and the staff at the camp was very helpful and friendly, especially Dylan. Rooms were very clean and separated by gender. Myself and my colleagues were provided nice private tents.nnSafety was never an issue and all the groups property was secure. The meals at the restaurant were preplanned and it has incredible food and the chefs can cater to whatever dietary restriction that you might have. The burgers are particularly delicious. Our students voted the meals at the camp as one of their favorites during the course of their 4 month program. nnI would highly recommend staying here whether you are traveling in a group or just a solo traveler. The nights around the bar area are always a very social occasion and rafting can easily be planned upon arrival. Jinja is a bustling and lively town as well. Do not miss this place if you are coming to the area!nnSee all of you at NRC soon!

ALL of the above and swimming pool, plenty of camping space, we camped, great food and a minute walk to the centre of the activities where you arrange any water sports etc.nnLovely relaxed atmosphere, excellent food and friendly staff, even quick cheap laundry! Important when travelling as family.nnThank you Dylan and team. From arranging our taxi pick up to giving us very much needed sunscreen, we loved our first stop in Uganda. nnWe went to look at the next door campsite, Nile River Explorers, and it was so packed with overland buses and people that we were very grateful to have booked nile River camp. nnActivities... nChillaxing by the pool, sundowners outside watching the stillness of the lake and eating rolex at the local shops. nnMy husband went on their rafting trip, Nalubale, and loved it and we all went on a tubing trip with Tubing the Nile. nnAnother memorable activity was a morning spent making bracelets in the local village home that houses 25 homeless children who so appreciated our companionship and the 10 dollar fee per person. We go away much richer for the amazing interaction with these special children and my children have learnt a skill for life and plan to make many more bracelets when we are back home. Look up World Race Uganda on fbook or visit Eddie, the 24 Yr old founder, at Nile River Crafts Curios shop. nnWhat ever you do Im sure you will enjoy your timenn
